Who would Rose Pownes be to
William. Rose's son Wilfred died
in 1903
My search for the Pownes family on the
net came up with a Liza Mahjhrin of Kuala
Lumpur searching for information on possible
descendants in Kanpur and Lucknow.
Apparently Rose A Pownes nee Smith born 1869
was married to James Pownes in Lucknow
in 1885. She died in 1948 aged 79.
This information comes from Henry Bourne Church in an email. I've tried to locate Henry's first email to no avail.
