 Her son, Douglas Mackenzie, who as a student of La Martiniere College, was among the few who volunteered during WWII, died in an accident involving an Army vehicle, not long after the war. I (George Shepherd, a cousin) vaguely recall having heard this several years ago. A daughter, Mrs Mary Flynn, who had left Lucknow to live with her son Patrick in Bombay died 2012 (?) at the age of  87.

Walter Mackenzie passed away in 1967 and was
buried in the Bandariabagh Cemetery, Lucknow.
where his son-in-law, Patrick Flynn Jr (who died from
 cancer) was interred four years earlier. If I remember 
correctly these two graves were not there anymore 
but I had photographed the graves of
Patrick Flynn Sr and Stella Flynn (wife)

Irene Isabel Shepherd born 1901 married Walter Francis
Mackenzie on July 6 1921 in Lucknow.
Her father is listed as GH Shepherd and his as J Mackenzie (30 years)
Lynda Troidl (who provided these details) writes, I found a birth record
for Walter Francis Mackenzie. He was born on May 11 1889, his father
is listed as John Mackenzie and mother is Rose Amelia. Place of birth
is Chittagong, Bengal and he was christened on May 13 1889.
There is also a marriage record for John and Rose. She was a McCoy
and her father was John McCoy. They were married on December 15,
1868 in Malligaum, Bengal. Hohn's father and Rose appear to have had a
large family, in addition to Walter Francis. These are the names of
some of the children listed on familysearch.org
Grace Henrietta Ida, Alice Maud, Evelina Florence, Lydia Sophia, Louisa,
Matilda Adelaide, Beatrice Vitoria and Daisy Amelia
