Clifford Symonds 1951-2019

The funeral of Clifford Neil Symonds on
Sunday February 17, 2019 in Gonda. He
succumbed to cancer on Friday 15. He would
have been 68 years old on Feb 19, 2019.
Survived by his sorrowing wife, two 
daughters, sons in law and a grandson. Also
three brothers and a sister.
His eldest brother Karl Symonds (NER)
passed away a few years earlier in
Lucknow.
Their father also Karl Symonds who
died in Siliguri several years ago retired
as DME, NE Railway

Jullundur RA Cemetery

Gone forever is the memorial and resting
place of Fl Lt Frederic Pereira killed
 in 1971 in the brief war with Pakistan.

The graves in this old cemetery are being
systematically demolished so that at a future date
the land can be used for other purposes
 without let or hindrance. A local church
was, reportedly, instructed to stop using this 
cemetery.
