In Lucknow, as in other parts of the world, graves mean little to some people, but a search on the internet proves otherwise! What one will find on this blog isn't even 'a drop in the vast ocean' of tears that would have been shed if it were possible to calculate. The names, the sad poetry, quotes and expression of grief of the loved ones all being ground to dust.

John Osmond Charles 1901-1971

Glenda there is also John Meredith Charles 1888-1959 who I feel was Dr Charles's father. I would like to know because as you have noticed, I link names wherever possible. I have messaged people with questions and some have even replied. Some, however, don't maybe because they've not seen the message. George
