Lt W. Paul killed in action Nov 16, 1857

In Memory of 
 CHARLES KEITH DASHWOOD
 Lieut 18th Reg BNI,  son of 
Lt Col AW Dashwood, Killed at 
Dilkusha, Lucknow Nov 22, 1857, Aged 19 years.
(This grave was posted earlier on this blog
but I discovered after taking these pics
on July 19, 2016 that the other grave
was missed out)
The Dilkusha Gardens, Lucknow that has
been divided by a wall seen to the left, depriving
visitors to the Dilkusha Palace a front view.
There is a third
 broad slab  within the low walled enclosure (pic)
with no inscription.

ERECTED BY THE OFFICERS OF THE
4TH PUNJAB RIFLES
