**(Photo Fibis.org) *** ** * After receiving the death certificate I had this grave in mind while I photographed the other graves which are all on this blog, but failed to find it. There were several headstones, all in good condition, that had been deliberately uprooted, lying half buried in the mud. I later discovered that the same graves were being reconstructed as per the CWGC's plan for graves worldwide.
Strange really, considering the fact that all these graves had uniform headstones that were in perfectly good condition! The CWGC should have concentrated on the graves that had actually started crumbling. The same was done in a Naini Tal cemetery! Sometime back Dick Fanthome had left a comment
in answer to a question I had posed. I cannot recall
what it was |
