In Loving Memory of
MURIEL (DOTTIE)
THE DEARLY LOVED AND ONLY
DAUGHTER OF
CAPTAIN W.G. AND ANNIE CARLETON
DIED 28TH OCTOBER 1908
AGED 17 YEARS AND 9 MONTHS
**
" A LIGHT IS FROM OUR...."
**
GONE FROM EARTH BUT OT FORGOTTEN
NEVER CAN HER MEMORY FADE
SWEETEST THOUGHTS WILL EVER LINGER
ROUND THE SPOT WHERE SHE IS LAID
**
YET AGAIN WE HOPE TO MEET HER
WHEN THE DAY OF LIGHT IS FLED
THERE IN HEAVEN WITH JOY TO GREET HER
WHEN NO FAREWELL TEAR IS SHED.
Blogger: I often consult the net to check on an inscription or a name and this time I came
across Dr Ken Matto's blog post on cemeteries that more or less explains my interest
in graveyards!
