(There were other Nathans in Lucknow, perhaps unrelated, the last, Cyril Nathan, a documentary filmmaker, passing on about 10 years ago. The others were Llewellyn, a trained teacher who never taught, Eric, a vet, Clarence, a teacher, and a sister, Maggie who was married to Douglas Fanthome (railway) She was earlier Preece. An elder sibling had left India in the 1940s.)
