In Lucknow, as in other parts of the world, graves mean little to some people, but a search on the internet proves otherwise! What one will find on this blog isn't even 'a drop in the vast ocean' of tears that would have been shed if it were possible to calculate. The names, the sad poetry, quotes and expression of grief of the loved ones all being ground to dust. "...We always say that the history of a parish is in its graveyards..." Hi George,
ReplyDeleteDid this person have a sister called Vinita Clifford -- though she may be married now? If so, there was also another brother, I think. I was quite friendly with Vinita during my schooldays.
Cheers!
Glenda

ReplyDeleteYes, Glenda he was Vanita's brother. There is another brother, Christie. Only Ravi was married and leaves behind a son and daughter. The daughter, I believe, has started teaching and the son was already teaching at La Martiniere College. Ravi and his wife had separated several years ago.
