who belonged to an old Lucknow family worked in Mohan Meakins along with his younger brother, Neville till retirement. He remained unmarried. Ronald had planned for his retirement saving a reasonable sum of money in post office bonds but, it wasn't to be, because the post official had swindled many like Ronald and built a palatial home for herself.
Several years ago when I meet him out walking in the mornings first with his old mother and after her death, alone, he told me the case was in court. I doubt he recovered any of his savings because that's what a court case means, here.
Ronald had a sister Kathleen who died several years ago while one sister, Pamela Raymond, a widow is in bad health at the Dorothy Crosthwaite Homes, Lucknow. Pamela's daughter, Lillian Mishra died a couple of years ago. There was Danny, another brother who also died years ago, hit by a Jeep.
