(Blogger: When we lived a few years in Khandari 
Lane, Lalbagh, Lucknow till 1981, there was an 
elderly lady, a Mrs Shukla, who lived at the end of the 
lane in an old redbrick bungalow. I was told that
she was a Christian. And, now, three decades later
 I come across this grave and
cannot help wondering whether is it the
same Mrs Shukla buried here!
Just an observation: If I got the
dates right her son Edgar was born
in Jan 1930 and James, Nov 21, 
1930, probably not rare in
those days!

James Shukla was a legend in ITC Ltd
and was known as Jimmy Shukla. He worked
in the Accounting and Finance Dept.
