maternal grandfather of Peter and
Michael W who lived at No 18 Lawrence Terrace?
Peter and Michael, students of La Martiniere College,
 Lucknow, migrated  to the UK with their mother when
 I was quite small. What I do remember is Mrs W
gifting each child from LT a storybook of their
choice from from her sons' collection placed neatly
on a table!
Sept 5. 2015: After writing this post I contacted Ian Carter
who was the immediate neighbour of Mr Clements
who told me that the Whiting boys studied at 
Sherwood College, Nainital.)
