husband of May and 
grandfather of Julian.
A relative, Brian Figg had this to say:
He played the ukelele beautifully. Brian said
that Uncle George and Aunty May were a unique
couple. They had no money but lots of love. Every evening 
we wold go down to their place (presumably Maqbara in Lucknow)
with dinner for them and they would have hot tea and biscuits for
us. Pure love never seen people so poor and so contented.
