(I don't have much control over this
blog: I just go along and write wherever
the pic appears!)
This chapel-like structure is a gateway with
a couple of rooms, one with a fireplace, which
now lie vacant and might have been for a watchman
long, long ago!
My  grandson, Aden who
assisted me at the St John's
Church graveyard
leads the way down, down! We had decided to take
a drive down the Kaladhungi Road just to get away
from the crowded Flats when we came upon this
cemetery. I had heard there was a Christian cemetery in

the area but wasn't sure where.  The cemetery goes
quite a long way down the hill with graves at different levels.
The lowest levels are still in use!
A roofless little building similar to the other one
Some of the older graves
Aden waits while I tackle a thorny plant
that blocks the way
