Reverend Robert Fitz Frederick Trench was born
on 14 November 1848. He was the son of Reverend Frederic Fitz Williams
Trench and Louisa Alice Ward. He married Margaret Geraldine Hewson,
daughter of Reverend Francis Hewson on 28 Aughst 1868. He died on
4 June 1869 at age 20, without issue.
(The dates indicate that he came to India shortly after marriage. Why is
there a discrepancy in the dates. He would have been born in 1844 to be 25 years old when he died!)
