HE MARRIED HARRIET ROSE AMY STUART-MENTETH, DAUGHTER OF COL WILLIAM STUART-MENTETH. HE FOUGHT IN THE BHUTAN EXPEDITION AND THE SECOND AFGHAN WAR BETWEEN 1878 AND 1880. HE DIED ON THE 17TH JANUARY 1918 AT AGE 73. |
In Lucknow, as in other parts of the world, graves mean little to some people, but a search on the internet proves otherwise! What one will find on this blog isn't even 'a drop in the vast ocean' of tears that would have been shed if it were possible to calculate.
