Ella outlived her husband
by at least two decades.
They lived in a large house
in Lalbagh, Lucknow. The house has gone and the plot land is yet to be
put to proper use.
Mr Hashman at one time
also handled burials. Some
gravestones still bear the
Hashman and Sons inscription.

on 19th March 1938 and
is also buried in the
Nishatganj cemetery, Lucknow
